Hawboldt selected by University of Hawaii for new CTD Winch and LARS

Hawboldt is proud to announce we have been selected to provide a new state of the art CTD winch and LARS on the Kilo Moana, the University of Hawaii’s SWATH research vessel. Design drawings of CTD winch and LARS:

Hawboldt will be providing a knuckle-telescoping offshore crane complete with CTD docking head, and a 10,000m Active Heave Compensated CTD Winch. The equipment will be delivered by the end of 2019, with Sea Trials in early 2020.
