Dylan Wells, P.Eng.
General Manager

Dylan has worked at Hawboldt since joining as an applications engineer in 2010. In 2017 he joined the Hawboldt Management team as the General Sales Manager, and in 2020 took the role of General Manager. During the past 10 years, Dylan has built a strong technical foundation in marine equipment, working as a design engineer, and Product Manager for Launch and Recovery Systems. Dylan uses his technical and sales backgrounds to support our customers by asking the right questions to understand project requirements, and developing solutions that minimize risk.

Colin Gillis
General Sales Manager

Colin joined Hawboldt as an applications engineer in 2014, after completing a masters in Engineering with a focus on Non-Linear Controls. In 2021 he became Program Manager for the National Shipbuilding Strategy, focused on customer success for Canadian Coast Guard and Navy Projects under NSS. In 2022 Colin joins the Hawboldt Management team as the General Sales Manager.

Rene d’Entremont, P.Eng.
Production Manager

Rene joined Hawboldt in 2014 as a design engineer, and joined the management group as Production Manager in 2020. Rene’s group includes the weld shop, machine shop, foundry, paint shop, assembly department, testing grounds, and purchasing. With a background in mechanical engineering, Rene helps us take our equipment designs from paper to reality.

Drew Moores, P.Eng.
Engineering Manager

Drew Moores leads the Engineering team, having joined Hawboldt in 2013, and working in first in applications, next in design, and finally leading research and development before taking on this role as a member of the Management team in 2020.
